Chapter One

This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says:
“Write in a book all the words that I have spoken to you.”
Jeremiah 30:2

My Book

As I learn and grow, as I come to know
The Great I Am, I am that I Am.

Help me write my book, as I take a look
At what life has brought, and how every thought

Was a powerful knife that shaped my life.
May I write it all down, with no hint of a frown

Now that I know, that through pain I did grow,
So that others may see what You’ve done for me.

The gifts I receive are for all who believe.

Make my book bright, a beacon of light,
For others who seek to climb to their peak.

May I do Your will
As these pages I fill.
