Chapter
Fourteen
I am a woman who fears the Lord. I shall
be praised.
Proverbs 31:30
Show Me Why I’m a Woman
What good are these arms with no one to hold?
What good are these ears if I’m never told
That I’m loved like a woman?
Oh show me why I’m a woman.
Why, I’m a woman!
I’m a woman,
A woman.
What good are these lips with no one to kiss
And tell that I love him? Oh how I miss
Being loved like a woman.
Lord, show me why I’m a woman.
Why, I’m a woman.
I’m a woman,
A woman.
I can shine like the sun and love everyone,
Be happy and gay, sing and dance every day.
But inside there’s a part, a part of my heart
That cries out for a mate. How long must I wait?
What good are these hands with no one to touch,
No one to feel that I love him so much?
Tell me why I’m a woman.
Lord, tell me why I’m a woman.
Why, I’m a woman!
I’m a woman!
A woman!
