Chapter Fifteen

The Lord spoke to Moses face to face,

as a man speaks with his friend.

Face to Face

Our identity was created by the Lord God Himself in the beginning. It has been covered over by eons of illusion and erroneous teaching.

In order to know God we must cut through all that is not of God, but is of this world. By the time we arrive face to face with our Maker, we have been stripped of all that is false and our true identity shines forth.

God is not some vague being sitting on a throne somewhere off in a place called heaven. The living God, the Christ, is enthroned right within our own hearts. The chaos of daily life keeps our minds so occupied that we don’t notice Him.

Noticing God within was the beginning of my walk in faith. Once I began to pay attention to Him, He made it clear that all that I was seeking, peace of mind, knowledge of my true purpose, love, joy, and happiness was to be found right within myself.
