Chapter
Four
I
trust in the Lord with all my heart
and lean not on my own understanding.
In all my ways I acknowledge Him, and He directs my paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6
God’s Instrument
“If
it itches, scratch.” Thus says the Lord God. As I scratched
my head, a vision appeared before my eyes. It was a heart from which
flowed a beautiful rose. “This is your reward for your obedience.”
Thus says the Lord God.
And so I was conditioned to be obedient. Through positive and negative
reinforcement, I finally learned to listen to the Lord. And with
time the communication between us was further refined, until now.
Yes,
the Lord God speaks to me now, and I am obedient, obedient in all
things, without reservation. He commands me to write these very
words, and I obey.
I
am His instrument. He is the master fully in charge. I have given
Him full control by an act of free will. He is satisfied.
I
am a prophet. The Lord prompts me to speak. My cause is perfection.
Though others may conspire against me, I will prevail.
“You
are my gentle woman in whom I am well pleased.” Thus says
the Lord God.
